My Project

My third-graders are curious, excited, kind, and imaginative learners. I want to help provide them with all the materials that will enhance their social-emotional learning and literacy skills.

Throughout the school year, students will have diverse opportunities to engage with literacy with the help of your donation.

During acceleration blocks, stations, and indoor recess, students actively seek fun ways to improve their reading and writing skills. The Grab & Play Reading Games, Building Empathy Game, and Sentence Match will give students tangible materials to improve their grammar, inference-making, spelling, reading, and writing.

During our acceleration blocks, students will benefit from the Literacy Centers Management Chart, as this organizational tool will provide clear, visual direction.

Students need plenty of access to writing opportunities. The composition notebooks and writing process folders will assist students in organizing writing throughout the year. The sharpened pencils will keep students on task rather than taking multiple breaks to sharpen their pencils.

Cleaning materials and fidgets are to increase self-esteem, and teach responsibility and self-management.
