This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
This year will be my first year teaching in my own classroom. I am very excited to start this journey at a charter school in St. Paul. In my class I will have 10 energetic and eager to learn preschoolers. I am excited to watch them grow and learn this school year. However as a first year teacher I have limited resources I am looking to ensure I can provide everything my students may need to succeed in the classroom throughout the year.
My Project
The school year is starting soon and I want to ensure all of my students have the materials they need to be successful in the classroom. As a first year teacher the resources I already have are limited.
I am looking to make sure that my students have the materials needed such as paint, paint brushes, and play doh to make learning more interactive and fun.
I also am looking for things like pencils and a pencil sharpener to ensure every student has something to write with. I also would like students to have the chance to have some fun and play which is why I am asking for dress up clothes. Furthermore I have asked for snacks to ensure all students are getting enough food throughout the day. Finally I want to ensure my classroom is clean to make sure my students stay healthy which is why I have asked for wipes.
