This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This is my 4th year at my school. I have learned that these pupils enjoy their art time with me. However, the budget for starting the academic year 23/24 was lower. This multicultural community deserves chances to learn by creating and expressing themselves through art time at school.

Some kids mentioned to me that they do not have supplies at home.

For this reason, art in class, for a good number of children, is the only moment that they have to develop their creativity and sense of imagination. I plan to use the materials from this project to nurture and encourage creative thinking and art skills for my beloved young learners. Imaginative and creative play is how children learn about the world. During imaginative play, children manipulate materials, express themselves verbally and non-verbally, and team up for common goals.
