My Project

My sixth-grade students are a wonderful mix of personalities, backgrounds, and learning styles. They’re curious, determined, and full of potential. Many of them come from families who work hard but may not always be able to provide school supplies. What makes my students special is their resilience—they show up each day ready to try their best, even when resources are limited. I want to make sure that a lack of materials never gets in the way of their learning.

My goal is to start the new school year strong by providing individual student supply packets filled with essentials like folders, pencils, rulers, lead refills, and erasers.

These basic tools may seem small, but they make a huge difference in students’ ability to stay organized, complete assignments, and feel prepared. I also want to make sure our classroom runs smoothly by including teacher tools and items that support lesson prep, classroom management, and daily routines.

When students have the materials they need from day one, they can focus on what really matters—learning. They won’t have to worry about borrowing supplies, falling behind, or feeling embarrassed. Instead, they’ll walk into a classroom that’s welcoming, well-equipped, and ready to support their success. These supplies will help build a positive learning environment where students feel confident, cared for, and ready to grow.
