This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This year I have the pleasure of working with students in a Journalism and Media class! They have been working hard to investigate issues and current events in our school and create informative articles so that their peers can stay informed. There is only one problem: formatting a newspaper on our basic programs is not easy!
Students deserve to have their voices heard!
This is why we are asking for a year subscription to Designer Pro through MakeMyNewspaper. This program allows them to not only put together their articles in a professional manner, but also easily share them with the student body. With the yearlong access we will be able to make multiple newspapers and make sure that we bring student voice to our community. Our hope is that by having this we will easily be able to create more newspapers and grow our platform.
