My Project
Imagine the joy of a child discovering they can read! That’s exactly what this project aims to create for our 1st and 2nd graders. We’re seeking decodable take-home books packed with foundational phonics skills to unlock the magic of reading for every student. These specially designed books break reading down into manageable steps, helping kids practice letter sounds, blends, and word patterns with confidence—right at home!
Our students are eager and ready to dive into these books each night, building fluency and excitement with every page they turn.
But right now, we simply don’t have enough books for every child to take home and practice. That’s where your support makes a world of difference!
As Miss B, the reading interventionist, I’ll cheer on each reader, celebrate their successes, and provide encouragement along the way. Together, we will spark a love of reading that lasts a lifetime, improve test scores, and open doors to endless learning possibilities.
