My Students

In today's world children are more tech savvy. They need the challenge and excitement of digital course ware to keep the joy of learning in their hearts and minds.

I have twenty-two first graders who are hungry to learn.

Many of them come from poor economic backgrounds, but that hasn't affected their drive to do well in school. Many of them struggle with academics but they want to do well. Our school is in a small town where everyone knows everybody, so we truly care about one another. We want our children to be successful in life and rise above their circumstances.

My Project

Starrmatica is a program that enriches reading, math, and science skills through digital course ware. We have the resources available so that all students would have access to the program daily. This program will provide my students with necessary skills which will lead to confidence in themselves.

This project is important to my students because it will continue to fuel their desire to learn.

It will help them to master skills that I teach in class. It will provide enrichment for topics covered in class. I know it will guide them to becoming life long learners.
