My Students

The students who walk into my room know that it’s going to be something special. They know they are going to have the best time of their lives! They are going to work hard and challenge themselves, but they are going to have a blast doing it!

I get excited when I see the kids walk into my room.

Their eyes get so big, and they are in amazement at how cool our class looks. My job is to get them excited. Once I have that, they are ready to learn!

My Project

Every week in our class a student is picked to be STAR STUDENT. This is a student who represents what a good citizen is. It's a kid who is kind and helpful. When the student is picked, they get a binder with some goodies in it. At the end of the week they get to do a presentation on themselves. After the presentation, they are able to ask the kids if they have any questions. This is a great time for the Star Student to practice speaking skills as well as the other students to practice listening and questioning skills.
