My Project

Teaching mathematics to a diverse group of learners can be a challenge. I have some students who are able to learn better when they are standing up in the back of the room and have the opportunity to fidget. Holding clipboards and calculators can be a challenge and having a desk students can stand at will greatly enhance their ability to learn the material!

Mathematics can be learned and taught regardless of whether a student is sitting or standing or kneeling.

Flexible seating will allow me to reach struggling learners and meet them where they are! Groups will be able to conference at at standing desks with ease and have places to write their mathematics while working at stations around the room!

The Teachers Pay Teachers gift card will allow me to find mathematics activities that involve movement so I can truly take advantage of the flexible seating. And who doesn't need more pencils?!
