My Students
My students are faced with many challenges in and out of school. Now with COVID-19 restrictions it is even more challenging. My students are so full of life and are eager to learn every day. My students love to be actively engaged in their learning. It helps them learn each and every day.
I work in a Title I school in North Carolina where 100% of our students receive free breakfast and lunch every day.
Despite so many hardships, my students are eager to learn and do their best. They want to be in school because they want to learn all they can so they can be successful one day.
My Project
This standing desk will make such a difference in my classroom by allowing me to be more flexible when teaching. I have a classroom of 20 students, however, 10 of those students are full remote and the rest of my class comes to school. It is my job to teach both groups of my class daily at the same time. A standing desk will make it easier to teach the content and be able to easily monitor and assist my in-person students. The stand up desk will make such a huge difference in the way we virtual teach!
