My Students

Our fourth grade is unique. I have students from different backgrounds, cultures, religions, and races. Some students are learning English for the very first time. Some students require special education and some students are very talented when it comes to learning.

Seeing my students engaged and deeply involved in their own education is a great joy to me.

I strive to provide hands-on learning experiences in a safe environment, where students are free to explore, make real-world connections, and see their knowledge grow and expand.

My Project

In this project, I am requesting bed risers and a set of two Leather Adjustable Bar Stools with a Back for students to use. As a class, we have discussed our favorite flexible seating options and over and over again, students express their love of our stand up desks.

I have a large class this year and the two options I offer are not meeting their needs.

We will use the bed risers to rise up several desks in our classroom, giving more students a good working station while standing. By using these simple bed risers, we can convert desks easily, at a fraction of the cost of "real" stand up desks. The bar stools will be used at our tall table in the back, providing students with the option to sit or stand.
