This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love how curious, creative, and eager to learn my students are. They come into the music room excited to explore rhythms, melodies, and teamwork through hands-on learning. Our Orff instruments are a key part of this experience, but currently, students must sit or kneel on the floor to play them, which can be uncomfortable and limits their ability to perform with proper technique. By providing sturdy, adjustable Orff stands, students will be able to play with better posture, improved sound projection, and increased focus. These stands will help create a more inclusive and professional learning environment where all students can thrive musically.
