This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The students in my class are curious, hardworking, and creative students who thrive in an engaging and active learning environment. They love collaborating, thinking critically, and expressing their ideas in unique ways. However, to fully support their learning, they need the right tools to stay focused and engaged.
With these resources, my students will have the freedom to move, create, and actively engage, transforming their learning experience every day.
The standing desks will give students the flexibility to move while they work, helping them stay alert and comfortable. The class set of scissors will allow them to complete hands-on projects, fostering creativity and fine motor skills. The whiteboard markers will ensure every student has the materials they need to actively participate in lessons, share their thinking, and collaborate with their peers.
During our recent class projects, we’ve had to take turns using a limited number of scissors, slowing down creativity and collaboration. Having a full set will ensure every student can participate fully and bring their ideas to life. My goal for this project is to create a dynamic, student-centered classroom where every learner can engage with the content in a way that best suits their needs.
