My Students

I teach in a small, rural school, but my students have BIG hearts. My students are smart, loving, outgoing, energetic, quiet, talkative, easygoing, and fun to be around. They are eager to learn new skills and are hard workers.

Their limited exposure to life outside of a rural setting does not hinder their zest for new discoveries!

I am eager to provide them with resources and opportunities that allow them to explore life outside of school and our small community after all the devastation caused by Hurricane Michael!

My Project

How do you feel after sitting in the same seat for an hour? Imagine having to sit for an hour and a half. Having these adjustable tables and bar stools available to my students will allow them the flexible seating options they need. They sit for 90 minutes in each class. Many students need constant movement to allow them to maintain focus and engagement throughout a lesson. I know as a teacher, I loathe sitting through a long workshop without breaks! These tables and bar stools will allow for those students to stand, yet stay focused and engaged to the lesson.
