My students need some options that will help them to focus on lessons that are being taught. We need adjustable height desks and two Zenergy Ball Chairs.

My Students

I work in a fast growing rural district, due to housing projects. So some of my students may remember a time in their lives where they did not have any close neighbors, but now do. Several of my students have ADHD. They are great kids, but have a hard time sitting in a classroom without constantly moving about in some way. Unfortunately these students miss important parts of the lessons taught in their classes because of their inability to stay focused. This is just one of the reasons that some of my students have such low self-esteem.

My Project

The classroom furniture will help students with ADHD focus in class. This will help everyone else in the classroom focus. The standing table will be helpful for the students that I currently have that have to stand in class because they can't focus when they are sitting. The table will give those students a place to put their books instead of holding them as they are doing currently. The Zenergy chairs will help those students who are doing their best sitting in regular chairs, but have a hard time focusing. The Zenergy chair will allow for some movement so the benefits for some students will be apparent from the moment they sit on the chair.
