Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

These standing desks are necessary for student learning. The students at our school work very hard to be successful. Unfortunately, many do not always have the ability to remain focused and on task or keep their bodies in control at all times. Flexible seating options such as standing desks are not only needed, but would allow students to be able to focus and produce work they can be proud to finish. The supplies would be used by our school. The ultimate goal is to have a standing desk in every classroom (18 classrooms). Please help our students continue to learn by donating standing desks to the school.
