My Project

Let's invigorate my middle school classroom with standing desks! They can be a game-changer for my students' health and learning. Sitting for extended periods has been linked to issues like obesity and back pain, and standing desks can help reduce that risk. Standing can also improve my students' posture, focus, and energy levels, keeping them engaged throughout the day.

The key here is ensuring the desks adjust to different heights.

Middle schoolers grow at varying paces, so aim for desks adjustable between 24 and 30 inches. Comfort is crucial, so allow my students to switch between sitting and standing throughout the day. Make sure they wear supportive shoes, and encourage them to take breaks to move around and stretch every 20-30 minutes. By following these tips, I can transform my classroom into a space that prioritizes both my students' well-being and learning!
