My Project
My students are different learners, and this desk will help make a difference in the classroom setting. Swinging feet and a standing posture will help my students with their basic need to move while learning. We can accomplish more active learning by allowing more activity that is non-disruptive.
By standing while working, the students will be more apt to be alert and willing to put in more effort, and the standing desk will encourage stronger muscle control when writing.
We are a very active group of students. Many of my students work in the resource room due to the need to have a smaller learning setting, more activity, and an overall adjusted curriculum. A standing desk will help eliminate the need to sit still.
