My Students
My students are amazing individuals who love coming to school! They overcome obstacles while simultaneously succeeding! Through the learning of history, I strive to empower my students with the tools and knowledge necessary to become the next great leaders using innovative techniques!
Our school is a place where students are always learning, always safe, and always having fun!
We are a Title I school in which all of our families are low income and high need! My students come to school each and everyday, check their outside world at the door and enter into the world of teaching and learning head first!
My Project
This project will help my most challenging students to be successful! In this project you will find a tablet for my English language learners, two stand up work stations for students who struggle daily, as well as a speech to text software kit and a brand new desktop computer that will serve as a student work station. The Dragon software will be used for all of my ELL students who have learned the language but still struggle with speech and typing. The stand up desks and desktop will be used for the students who struggle to focus while sitting. It will offer them a better work environment that is conducive to their needs. The tablet will serve as a tool to host all learning applications that we use to communicate with ELL students at a faster pace throughout all classes.
Technology is the key to success both in and out of the classroom, and I am trying to ensure that my students are provided with the tools that are needed to navigate and find those successes.
