This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our students in the Personalized Pathways Program at our high school earn their credits by completing several projects, tied to both academic and workplace standards, throughout the school year. Our students are intelligent, funny, and empathetic - for their first project, they have chosen to build care packages for homeless shelters!
My Project
Do you remember those old, hard, tiny desks and chairs from when you were in school? Guess what, they're still here! During the pandemic, people worked from home and started upgrading their furniture, why not treat our students the same way???
Please consider helping our amazing students by donating to our new seating project.
These stools will allow students to work at short or tall desks, and they'll make it easier for us to collaborate. Thank you for taking in interest in our students and we hope to grow with you in the future.
