Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In his book, Building Thinking Classrooms, Peter Liljedahl urges teachers to get students out of their chairs, away from their desks, and up on their feet, working collaboratively on erasable vertical surfaces.
The items on our wish list will transform our classroom walls into hubs of animated and productive struggle, where small randomized groups of students, assigned specific roles, will dig into tasks without fear of making mistakes.
The dry erase markers are an essential supply needed for students to use the whiteboards on a regular basis, so that Thinking Classrooms activities can become a frequent routine.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
