My students need the DigiLand - 7" Tablet to complete in-school science research and on-line learning. They will also use the tablets for Gizmo, Kahoot.it and other digital learning strategies.

My Students
The students in my classes are highly motivated "inner-city" students from low-income families. All receive free meals. These students go the extra mile and have a great regard for their education. All show learning gains when exposed to a curriculum which is presented using a hands-on teaching/learning style.
The students are very inquisitive, and they love to ask questions.
Instead of just giving them the answers, many times they will design an experiment which will reveal the answers they seek.
My Project
A current paradigm shift in education is insisting that more students "BYOD" or Bring Your Own Device. School -wide WiFi allows teachers to introduce lessons, show science videos, run simulations and test students, all on-line.
Miami Central Senior High in Miami, Florida is a Title I school, and many students cannot afford the luxury of a cell phone or tablet.
When the teacher gives online assignments, these students must do without or borrow someone else's device. These small inexpensive tablets will be used exclusively for online learning by all students and, therefore, enhance their learning and ultimately bring up their grades.
