Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students need art supplies to create zines, posters, books, and other collage projects! This hands-on project will develop my students’ literacy skills in a fun way.

Zines are self-published booklets that allow students to express themselves.

Collage combines materials to create new images and meanings. Students will develop writing skills, improve reading comprehension, enhance vocabulary, and strengthen visual literacy. They'll also foster creativity, self-expression, and build confidence.

I'm requesting stencils, diverse sticker packs, assorted rubber stamps, and ink pads. These materials will allow my students to unleash their creativity and develop essential literacy skills through zine-making and collage.
