This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our students have risen from many obstacles in life to get to this point. They are in a place where they are striving to do what is right, despite the constant pulls in the opposite direction. These students are eager to find personal successes and share them with those around them.

These students, this school year, will be able to show what they learn through engagement in everyday tasks.

What they accomplish this year will benefit them for the rest of their lives.

My Project

My holiday project of giving letters of learning to my students is underway.

I need the stamps to actually send the letters to my at-home learners.

These stamps will make for a pleasant surprise as they get a letter from their teacher, but more importantly, from someone who is versed in the topic, they desired to learn. This is such a humbling project, and it is so amazing to see their faces as they open their letters. And while I will not be able to see the faces of many of my students, I will know that they are equally surprised and excited to receive their letter of learning.
