This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My school is a Title 1 school where all students are at the low-socioeconomic level. My students deserve to have their basic needs met. Imagine a place at school where students can take a quick break to de-stress, freshen up, or just have a quiet moment. A Self-Care Station is that spot! It's filled with things to help students focus on their well-being, leading to better focus and learning, independence and self-awareness

The Stallion Self-care station is an investment in students' success – mind, body, and spirit!

Students in Title 1 Schools, especially in upper elementary grades, need a place where they can take care of their personal needs independently. Help me provided my students with that safe space.
