My Project

I want to provide a unique opportunity for students to learn how to turn art into a profitable business through screen printing. It is my hope that the screen printing station will help fund other projects that my students would like to participate in and teach them the value of hard work, responsibility, and the awesome feeling that comes when you've worked hard to earn the money to buy supplies.

Students will not only learn new screen printing techniques but also be responsible for creating eye-catching designs that are sure to sell.

They will be taking orders from various athletic teams and clubs on campus. I coach girls golf and wrestling, many of my athletes are my students and they will be excited to create designs for their teams! Our students will then complete the t-shirt orders by hand and ensure timely delivery to the appropriate clubs. Of course screen printing will not be all business all the time! The students will be able to create their own personal t-shirt designs to wear as well.

The funds raised from screen printing orders will be used to purchase additional art supplies for our school's art program, benefiting all students involved. Once a year our county hosts All County Arts, in which a small selected group of students get to participate. One of the breakout sessions screen prints t-shirts. It is a hit every single year and I always get requests to bring it to our school for everyone to enjoy. I appreciate your partnership in bringing a much requested project to my students!
