The zipper pouches canvas and acrylic paint will be used by my students to do a plant stamping activity using the stalks of taro. The stalks will be used as the paint brushes, allowing them to apply the acrylic paint onto the zipper pouch canvas. I envision them being able to use the paint with the same application on the plain white shirts as well.
The other resources I am requesting like the construction paper, laminator, and laminating sheets, will be useful when doing their projects or making handmade cards.
I would like to laminate some of their art projects using the laminator and laminating sheets.
My students clean their desks at the end of each day, so the Clorox wipes are a necessity. The mini jars with cork stoppers will be used for an end of year project for their promotion ceremony to 6th grade.
Pencils and pens are always needed by my students as they do a lot of note taking during instruction. The heavy duty 3 hole puncher will come in handy when my students file their classwork and homework into their portfolio at the end of every quarter.
My students have school IDs they need to wear everyday, but right now many of the metal badge clips have been lost. Those without a clip currently have a paperclip attached. It will be more efficient and nice if all of my students could attach their IDs to their shirt, without the worry of it falling off.
Other necessities are needed in our classroom like the vacuum and microwave. The vacuum will be useful in keeping our class clean. The microwave will be used for all of us, if food needs to be heated up for the class or when doing science experiments.
