Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We are integrating PBL (project Based Learning) into math. We want to create some art curations around campus using math as a foundation. We will use precalculus to create our own patterns for the stained glass. When math is taught as a Project Based Learning model, it is more meaningful and inspiring. It may be the first time students feel like they belong and have a place in the workforce. It can also boost confidence to have work displayed on campus. I will also be able to use the laser engraver in future projects for graphing.
