Help me give my students the opportunity to learn more about stage audio. With this equipment I will be able to teach stage audio in my classroom. It will also assist in students practicing with microphones in class.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach theater. In the past, I have focused on the students' performances. However, as the program grows and I have students who are taking class for their second year, I want to expand their knowledge.
Theater encompasses many different jobs.
One very useful skill is sound engineering. In order to properly teach this in my school, the students need to be able to use the microphones and other sound equipment in my classroom. With speakers and audio racks, I will have the tools my students need to practice and learn these essential skills.
