Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I work in a great school with so many talented students! They are high energy, loving, and motivated to try new things. We are located in an up and coming neighborhood but we still have a way to go. For many children, school is the one place they can express themselves and get the opportunities they would never otherwise have.

Every year, I produce a large musical/dramatic production and this year there will be two. However, our microphones are beat up and broken which makes hearing these productions virtually impossible. You can imagine the frustration the children and audience feel, especially when the children rehearse for three to four months with full costumes, songs, choreography, and set design.

By acquiring overhead mics, it would allow us to completely mic the stage so all may finally be heard. We already have speakers, so all we need are the mics that would give the children the opportunity to shine.

With your help, we will finally be able to have the productions the children deserve. Their hard work and your donation will enable us to give the performance of a lifetime, and may also empower other students to get involved in musical drama!
