My Project
The goal of every drama program is to put on shows on the stage. Right now, our cafeteria stage is set up very meagerly with one functional microphone. When students try to share it, it gives feedback, is hard to hear them, or any number of technical issues arise.
A new set of headset microphones will free up students' hands for using props, gesturing, and generally putting on a better skit for our school assemblies.
We have been putting on a skit at every monthly assembly. More and more of these assemblies is being turned over to responsible students, but the skit is always a highlight. When the microphones are not as functional, the audience leans in to hear it: they're eager to see their peers acting! When the microphones function nicely, the audience gets a chance to fully enjoy it!
