My Project

This is a new project I would love for my students to experience. I focus on developing a love for reading and getting students to find "their book" type. We discuss that no one loves boring books, but that we all love different types of books.

This project will let the students creatively track their books they complete all year!

No more boring lists that they lose. We will create new "mini" book covers, print them out, laminate them, and then apply the magnets to display what each class has read all year long on our class board.

This will allow students to be motivated to read more and to get to share books that they enjoyed with other students as they place them on the board. I truly believe this will get the students talking about their books more and more. Plus, it will provide an enrichment activity for the artistic students as well.
