My Project

Throughout the day, my students work hard to learn and complete assignments. They sit at their desks working in groups or with partners working on understanding the topics that they need to master. I feel that they need a refreshing break that still will help them learn, keep their brain active and have fun while they are on break.

I have one set of these speed stacker cups.

I found out that these were the most desired item when students finished early or had to stay in for indoor recess during rainy/snowy days. I decided to research more about these speed stacker cups. I was impressed with how students can really benefit from playing with these cups.

I decided that having these in my class will benefit my students. I plan to teach the students the basics and then let them practice. They can challenge someone to a speed test, or work together with a partner. I like that there are lessons that can improve hand-eye coordination and fitness. I plan on also rotating classes so, this is something that could benefit 150 students this next year and future classes.
