Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I know my students will love using the stability balls, rather than the hard, traditional chairs. When students sit on stability balls, both sides of their brains are engaged in keeping their bodies centered on the balls. When the brain is stimulated, it's more focused on learning. The increased focus helps process new information, making them better able to concentrate on tasks, class discussions, and other aspects of their daily learning.
With so many distractions for students today, having something that can help them focus, increase their productivity, and give them some additional core strength is priceless.
