Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

We have a great bunch of kids here at our school. We are a Title I school, which means that most of our students are on a low socioeconomic status. The teachers do what we can to help those who are without.

They may not always have what they need, but they are always willing and ready to learn and to help others.

We do lots of labs and projects in science, so supplies are very necessary. We are not supplied with headphones. I had a few pairs of earbuds from prior years, but those have worn out. I purchase what I can, but it gets very expensive and that's why I'm turning to DonorsChoose for help with this request for headphones, crayons, pencils and paper.
