Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My school is a low income school and 100% of my students come from an economically disadvantaged home. Mostly all of them are unable to purchase necessary supplies such as pencils, interactive notebooks, erasers, sanitation supplies for the class and markers. These are all things student need to succeed and make their classroom and day run smoothly. Anchor chart paper also helps the students engage and have a visual to help them refer back to things they learned throughout the year. Any supplies would help the scholars stay focus and not have to have the burden of worry due to their circumstances. Thank you in advance!
My Project
Using this anchor chart paper helps my students with their visual learning and being able to reference them throughout the year. The students love when they can participate and learn and they are able to contribute to their learning with this paper. The pencils are everyday needs so that the student will always be prepared and able to complete their work and you can't use the pencil without a sharpener. Sanitizer and sanitizing wipes keeps the students germ free and able to attend class without worrying about germs being spread to and from their classmates. The daily schedule chart keeps them in the know about every day that they come in class and it also gives them structure. Markers make them enjoy doing their work because it is now pretty and attractive work!
