My Project
In our classroom we like everyone to have a voice. A voice that matters and a voice that is heard. Please help us to help our students. We will be working on a hands-on assignment for our Unit Study on The Civil Rights Movement. Students will create a variety of student-choice art projects that we will display in our classroom. Projects will range from graphic designs that will be laminated and displayed in our room utilizing the magnets, canvas paints for our students who are passionate about painting, and hand-drawn and colored visual arts which will also be laminated and displayed. We want to provide our students the opportunity to utilize different styles of artistic representation to display their understanding of racial inequalities during this period in time. Our students thrive when working on hands-on activities and this is an annual project that we hold near and dear to heart. Please help us support our students - and support the future!
