Squeeze & Succeed: Stress Balls with Impact

Help me give my students opportunities to face challenges such as anxiety, attention difficulties, and overstimulation. We are implementing PBIS with motivating incentives, and stress balls are a proven tool for students who have had adverse childhood experiences.

My Project

To support student behavior and emotional regulation, we are implementing an engaging, healthy PBIS incentive: stress balls. This initiative is designed to reinforce self-regulation and coping skills school-wide, while also reducing behavioral incidents through proactive, positive reinforcement.

Stress balls will be used as tangible, non-food rewards for students who consistently demonstrate positive behaviors, namely, respect, responsibility, and safety.

These tools offer meaningful, developmentally appropriate recognition. Monthly behavior data and student celebrations will help us monitor impact and ensure the process aligns with our goal of fostering a supportive school community.
