I am currently a special education teacher in SC. The school is a title one school in an area predominately populated by low income families. The students in my class all have severe and profound mental and physical disabilities.
The students in my class have severe disabilities and require assistance in nearly all self-help activities. They need assistance with feeding, changing, brushing their teeth, and washing their hands. There is a lot of physical contact between the students and the adults in the classroom. In order to prevent the spreading of germs , I am requesting these materials.
I am requesting Lysol wipes, Purell hand sanitizer, and Lysol spray so the students and adults in the classroom can keep their hands clean and so we can also keep our toys and materials sanitized.
By supplying our classroom with these cleaning supplies you will be helping us to create a clean learning environment.
