I teach a class for children with severe and profound mental and physical disabilities. The children range in age from 6 to 8 and come from a variety of socioeconomic backgrounds. The students disabilities include cerebral palsy, epilepsy, low vision, speech impairments, and low hearing levels. Some are non-ambulatory, and all require maximum assistance from others for self care and day to day living.
