This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Nearly all my students are new to this country. They come from very low social economic households. Please help me provide my students with cleaning and disinfecting supplies. In addition, we need tissues for cold seasons and antibacterial soap to help control the germs. Our school consists of mainly students that are on free and reduced lunch. Many students lack resources at home and are limited to donated supplies to maintain a healthy and clean learning environment. This will allow for class supplies which will hep us maintain a healthy room. As a result of these limitations at home, there is a lack of resources needed in our classroom.
Students need to be healthy in order to attend school, so they can learn.
We need classroom school supplies to maintain a clean learning environment such as disinfecting wipes and sprays, paper towels, alcohol, and hand sanitizer. In addition, tissues and antibacterial soap. These resources are a great way to help promote good healthy habits, which may allow us to remain free from all viruses and increase academic growth for my students. Healthy bodies help maintain healthy brains.
My Project
These very much needed class resources will impact my students immensely in many ways. They will have a clean and sanitized environment in order to stay healthy and be at school, which in turn will increase their learning. We depend on these to maintain a clean environment for all.
