Sprucing up for September

My students need a bright, inviting classroom ready for all of the active play they will be doing everyday. Replacing the rug/carpet in our room is key, since they spend a lot of the day there!

My Students

I teach pre-k 4. For some of my students, my classroom is their first experience in a school setting. Therefore, I aim to have a bright cheerful welcoming classroom with lots of things to keep my students engaged and learning. Being a 4 year old, school can be a scary concept at first, I want to teach my students that school is fun! Once we get going in September, they keep me on my toes with all of their questions and curiosity to learn new things.

My Project

In our classroom we play most of the day! We use the rug in the morning as a meeting place, then at work time the kids are hard at work using the blocks, train tracks, and cars creating an imaginary world, all on the rug. The rug is a high traffic area, therefore it's important to replace it every few years, so my students can have a clean, and inviting area to play in. Having a colorful and educational themed rug is essential in any pre k classroom. Getting a new rug with brighten and freshen up the whole classroom.
