Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We have recently gotten some new white boards for our classroom, to make our sound wall and more space for our tier 3 vocabulary words, and to make these new white boards fit with our room they need some borders. Also, with the sound wall means we have new resources. The picture frames will be used to post valuable charts that the students use on their desks for easy access. The magnets will help us put the cards from the sounds wall up. Last, unfortunately COVID is NOT behind us just yet. The wipes will ensure that we keep safe and healthy for the remainder of the school year.

My students, who have executive functioning challenges, benefit for tools that help them stay organized and have direct access to visuals.

Having materials on students desks ensures that the materials do not just become wallpaper on the wall. My students rely on table top resources for reading and writing.

Thanks for giving our classroom a final spruce and organize before the school year is over. I firmly believe that learning happens until the final day of school!
