My Project
The items we are requesting, such as mushroom growing kits, herb seeds, grow lights, and garden tools, will provide my students with hands-on experience in growing and cultivating plants. These tools will help them understand the science behind plant growth, sustainability, and the importance of nurturing our environment. Additionally, the project will foster critical thinking, patience, and teamwork as they observe and care for their plants while applying lessons from STEM and environmental science in real-world contexts.
Our goals for this project are to teach students essential life skills, such as responsibility, perseverance, and problem-solving, through gardening.
We aim to inspire a love for nature, encourage mindfulness, and connect students with the importance of sustainable practices.
