Sprint to Greatness With Scrum

My students need Scrum supplies to help them manage their Agile project-based learning experiences.

My Students

We are a Title 1 school in the heart of Texas. My students are inquisitive, energetic and curious. We are a Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics magnet school. My students want to grow up to be computer scientists, geologists, environmental engineers, mechanical engineers, roboticists and the like.

My students pledge to push the boundaries of science, technology, engineering, art, mathematics and computer science.

Although many of my students were adversely affected by Hurricane Harvey, they are determined to not lose hope and continue pursuing their dreams.

My Project

My students learn by doing. Through project-based learning, my students learn to collaborate effectively, manage time and monitor their own success. We utilize the Agile methodology, where incremental delivery, collaboration, and continual learning are stressed. Students keep track of their progress using Scrum, an Agile framework for managing projects.

Donations to this project will help support the development of Agile thinking for STEM + CS students.

By supporting this project, you will provide students with a Scrum board, a visual accountability structure for their project-based learning experiences. The magnetic cards, clips, string, markers, and tape will be used to create a Scrum board where my students will track their sprints to success!
