This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The students in our class want to create a culture of inclusivity and respect at the yard to prevent bullying. The Sprinkle Kindness like Confetti Campaign will create a culture of kindness and respect. We will take the philosophy outside of our four walls onto the playground, other classrooms, and into their homes.
Using the art supplies including colorful markers, pens, and crayons, students will be able to speak out and spread kindness on campus.
Students will create posters to remind others to practice kindness. They will create bookmarkers with kind messages and hide them in books in the library for others to find. In addition, students will give the kindness bookmarkers as a token when they see kindness happening on the playground during recess and lunch.
The Sprinkle Kindness like Confetti Campaign provides opportunities to spread joy to students and encourage them to pay it forward by showing kindness to others on campus.
