This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am a Speech-Language Pathologist in an elementary school. My current caseload is made up of more than 50 elementary students who are eager to interact verbally and develop their communication abilities during individual or small group therapy sessions. I am always seeking to add new and engaging therapy materials to my therapy toolbox.

Help us "spring" into the last few months of school with new books, games, and sensory materials!

The requested items will provide open-ended games with corresponding books that can be used with mixed speech and language groups. These provide the perfect opportunity to practice speech, language, fluency, and social skills while keeping all participants actively engaged. The lamination sheets will be used to create long-lasting stimulus cards. The sensory strips will be used as positive reinforcements and will also be provided to students requesting an outlet for their energy or anxiety. I know my students will be so excited to use these new products and I can't wait to see the pride and joy on their faces as they master their communication goals!
