Spring Speech Flower Unit

Help me give my students plants! We will read books and discuss the life cycle of plants and planting real flowers! Each student will get to take home a plant! Targets include prepositions, vocabulary, speech sounds, and following directions/sequencing.

My Project

In this unit, students will learn about plants including the life cycle of a flower. The big project will be actually planting seeds and watching them grow into a flower to take home at the end of the school year.

The learning targets of this unit will be vocabulary, prepositions, answering questions/comprehension, speech sound production, following directions, and sequencing.

The students I work with range from PreK to 2nd grade with varying levels of skills and goals to work on. I will differentiate the unit to be specific to their individual abilities and needs.
