Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our student population consists of students with autism and various disabilities. My love for my students lies in my appreciation for their authenticity. Over the years, my students have revealed more patience than I knew I was capable of and, likewise, unmatched levels of admiration. This school year, I have been given the honor of teaching Performing Arts. Lessons include movement, visual arts, social-emotional learning, and social interaction. Gifted materials will be used to support students culminating event, a spring show that will allow them to showcase their hard work.
