This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Thanks to all who have donated in the past, my classroom has benefited from a new printer, a GoPro camera, cameras for the science lab, and a soon to be remodeled room. Spring is here and my students could use some new supplies. They worked so hard to bring graphs, charts, data, and illustrations to life by productively using my classroom consumables. The over 100 students I teach daily often come to school with no pencils, highlighters, and even paper to use in the computer lab to print reports. My goal is to add needed supplies to my classroom to take my kids to the end of the academic year and also be prepared for my new students in September. As always, the support that I have garnered has been tremendously helpful because the funds go directly into the class and the materials purchase right into a child's hands.
